I want to share with you 31 scripture verses that speak about God’s faithfulness to us and how we can be faithful to Him. There are many more than 31, but the idea was that I wanted to encourage you to add one to your day for a month.
I pray that by doing this, I can encourage more mothers to understand the importance of Bible time and get more Christian moms to read in their Bibles every day. Bible verses about faithfulness are a great start for moms.
1 Corinthians 1:8-9
“He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”
God is our strength. He is faithful in His promises that in Jesus’ return, we will be co-heirs with Christ. How amazing is that?
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
“Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.”
God is so faithful to us that He gives us His peace so that our spirit, body, and soul can stay calm and steady until Christ’s return.

I love this verse. No matter what we’ve done in the days before, God’s faithfulness allows us to start over every morning. He shows mercy (compassion and favor) to us and promises we can start afresh every day.
2 Timothy 2:13
“If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny who he is.”
No matter what we do or say, no matter how many times we go against God with disloyalty, God remains faithful to us – no matter what.
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”
We can hold tight to God’s promises. He continues to be faithful to us and that will never change.

1 Corinthians 4:1-2

Paul is speaking about the servants of Christ and the nature of a true apostle. He says that anyone who has been trusted with much, they must prove themselves faithful to Jesus.
Mothers are entrusted with much responsibility. Stay faithful to God with what we’re given.
“For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does.”
The Bible is consistently proven as right and true. It shows that God’s faithfulness to us will not be undone.
“Great is his love for us. The Lord is faithful forever. Praise the Lord.”
Praise the Lord, God is faithful! He loves us so much. It’s a simple and pure as that.
“Lord, your love is as high as the heavens. Your faithful love reaches up to the skies.”
Can you imagine a love like God’s? The Bible says that His faithful love for us reaches to the heavens! I for one am so grateful for that love.

I want to be called a “good and faithful servant” when I reach heaven and face God, don’t you? It’s important and worth striving for in this life.

I love Psalm 91 and read it every day to my kids at breakfast. Often I quote verse 4 to my daughter at bedtime when she’s wondering if there are monsters in her closet. I reminder her that God’s faithful promises become a strong armor wing of protection around her that will shelter her from anything.

Jesus says that we are entrusted with small things. If we answer the call and are faithful to God in what He has given us, He will entrust us with more and more. However, there is a downside to this. He says if you’re dishonest with what God gives you, you won’t be proven trustworthy with bigger responsibility.

God has done so much for us. The good things that happen to us aren’t because we’re great, but that God is greater. He deserves all the glory and praise.

God is so great and wonderful. There is no one like Him or as powerful as Him.

We are called to be faithful to others just as God is faithful to us.

These words are so wise. Stay positively happy while you wait for things to turn out for the good. When things aren’t going your way or you’re experience pain or loss, stay the course without complaining. Stay committed to your prayer life and conversation with God, no matter what. Don’t let anything deter that.
“He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.”
How amazing is it to know that we serve a perfect God? He doesn’t do anything wrong and we can trust in His perfection. He is righteous, fair, and faithful.
“True, some of them were unfaithful; but just because they were unfaithful, does that mean God will be unfaithful?”
We can not rely on man to be our everything. Just because they treat us wrong, doesn’t mean that God will do the same. Humans can’t even be compared to God. His righteousness and faithfulness are untouchable.
“It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening.”
Another reminder that God renews every day. We can claim His unfailing love in the morning while knowing His faithfulness lasts all day.
1 Timothy 1:12-13
“I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.”
Jesus is so faithful to us that He continues to give us His strength, considers us trustworthy, and called us to His service. No matter what we do or how we treat Him, He stays faithful to us and gives us infinity chances. He is the perfect Friend.
“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”
God calls us to produce the characteristics that represent Him. If we tend to these seeds that God has planted in us, we will live in right relationship with Him.
1 John 1:9
“But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.”
We need to be honest with God in everything we do. When we disobey Him, we need to repent. When we do, He will be faithful in His promises in forgiving us right away. Once He does that, we are washed clean and we get to start over again. He doesn’t remember our sin after we repent.
“I bow before your holy Temple as I worship. I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness; for your promises are backed by all the honor of your name.”
God’s unfailing love and faithfulness is never-ending. His name alone is all the security we need to know His promises will hold true. We can depend on Him.

How awesome is it that Christ is mentioned all throughout the Bible, not just the New Testament. Long before Christ came to this earth as a baby, He was prophesied to bring justice to all through His faithfulness. We are truly blessed!
2 Timothy 4:7-8
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”
Stay faithful to God in everything you do. Your journey on this earth, when you live for Christ, will be a hard one. Paul says he fought the good fight and a crown of righteousness is waiting for him. God takes care of those who are faithful to Him.
2 Thessalonians 3:3
“But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”
There is a very real enemy out there that wants to see you fail. But once again, the Bible says the God is faithful to us. He will strengthen and protect us as we go through the battlefield.
“A faithful person will be richly blessed, but one eager to get rich will not go unpunished.”
Stay faithful, friends. If you’re faithful to God, He will reward you with His rich blessings. I’ve seen those blessings time and time again. I’m not faithful for the blessings, but they’re definitely helpful. Stay close to God and in your Bible every day.
